Sherman Lewis had a very short career in the NFL. He played for two different teams while in the NFL. The Toronto Argonauts and the NEw York Jets. He retired shortly after and Lewis had a very successful career as coach in the NFL. Though he wanted to become a head coach that never happened but he was and assistant coach for the Michigan State Football Program and would also become an offensive coordinator on many different teams in The NFL such as the Green Bay Packers and the Washington Redskins. After Lewis retired as a coach in 2004 he was inducted into the MSU Football Hall of Fame.
